Fi Sonic Guitar Amplifier

This Fi-Sonic amplifier is owned by a local guitar player. All original valves, all original dust!! Australian made circa 1966

A twelve inch Rola 12UX speaker driven by a pair of black plate RCA 6L6GC through a hunk of made in melbourne A&R iron. Power supply is A&R power transfomer, silicon rectifiers, capacitor input filter. Reverb driver is a 6GW8 through a 5K output transformer. There are four preamp valves, all AWV 12AX7. Construction and layout appears to be modelled closely on Fender combo. Most of the components are australian made, the obvious execeptions being the RCA 6L6GC (US made) and the reverb tank, which I haven't removed to check. The current owner bought from this amp from the original owner who used it to amplify his accordian at gigs. Jumpin'!
