CV391
/ 5B-255M Beam Tetrode
Finally
an 807 type valve with all the connections
at one end! This valve is one of a family
of british valves designed in the
mid-1950's as compact replacements for 807
applications. The CV391 has a loctal base
and is of reliable construction. It can be
used in all 807 amplifier designs. Within
maximum ratings in can be used in 6L6
amplifiers.

Pinout
differs only in one respect to KT88 / 6550
types: Pin 6 is connected to the beam
plates. For use in existing KT88 / 6550
applications connect pin 6 to pin 8 at the
socket and do not use pin 6 as a tie
point.
