Finally an 807 type valve with all the connections at one end! This valve is one of a family of british valves designed in the mid-1950's as compact replacements for 807 applications. The CV391 has a loctal base and is of reliable construction. It can be used in all 807 amplifier designs. Within maximum ratings in can be used in 6L6 amplifiers.

Pinout differs only in one respect to KT88 / 6550 types: Pin 6 is connected to the beam plates. For use in existing KT88 / 6550 applications connect pin 6 to pin 8 at the socket and do not use pin 6 as a tie point.

GEC MO Valve Co. TT21 / CV8286

TT21 beam tetrode designed for use in r.f. power amplifiers, audio amplifier output stages, pulse modulators and series and shunt stabilisers. The TT21 may be used as an alternative to the KT88 in any existing audio designs. Internal construction is identical to GEC MO Valve Co type KT88. Anode connection via 9 mm top cap. Octal base. Characteristics are identical to KT88. TT21 has higher maximum ratings.
