This Bridgewater Amplivox
is the oldest Australian made guitar amp in Retrovox House.
Forgotten in a shed
somewhere for many years, BW's slumber has yet to be
disturbed.
10" Magnavox Australian
made field coil speaker fitted with 5K:VC transfomer. The field coil
is energised with dc and acts as the filter choke as well, so there's
a few extra wires and volts in the five core speaker
connection.
Chassis removed from
cabinet. Valve lineup is 6J7G pentode preamp, 6J7G pentode driver
6V6GT pentode output and 5Y3GT rectifer. Power transformer made by
Henderson.
