Valve Factory Virtual Tour AWV Ashfield Sydney Australia

The Ashfield factory of Amalgamated Wireless Valve Company Pty.Ltd.

This valve factory produced millions of valves from the 1930's through 1970's. Demolished long ago, like most valve factories in the western world. Take a look inside to see the workers and machines of fifty years ago.

These pictures originally featured on the covers of Radiotronics, a Radiotron technical release published in Sydney, N.S.W., by Amalgamated Wireless Valve Company Pty. Ltd.
